Special Education

Through the Special Services department, our district offer many programs to meet the needs of students ages 3 to 21. Our specialists are highly trained to support students with many needs. 

Clear Creek is home to the district's Kitsap Achievement Program (KAP) for students who need intense behavior intervention. We also host the Preschool Alternative for Language and Socialization (PALS).

To refer your child for special education services, please contact a school psychologist.

When we receive a referral, we may decide that your child needs an evaluation. In an evaluation, a team with members from many specialties will assess your child. They will identify your child’s needs and recommend services and programs.

Special Services Coordinators

Our special services coordinators help organize a range of services for your child. They work with teachers as teachers create Individual Education Plans (IEPs). They work with our Special Services team to find appropriate services for your child. They can also start the process to arrange transportation.
